Boundaries between ‘art’& ‘life’ blur as we experience art through distributed and networked media, social events, interactions, interventions & work integrated into architecture and landscape. The processes and outcomes of these projects are enriched by dialogue, expertise & experiential insights from all walks of life.
How might these experiences be recorded, re-presented and re-membered?
interface – the point of connection between things location – the site, situation, context or position of something. memory – experiential, collective, associative, knowledge base, data & archiving
This site began as a research archival project (2005) – Interfaces of Location and Memory – supported and funded by the University of the West of England and the Arts Council. The ‘content management system’ was designed by artist / coder Neil Jenkins and generously hosted by Watershed Media Centre, Bristol.
